My Interests

One of the major benefits of being enrolled in Pacific Sands Academy was that unlike the rest of the years I had spent in government school, this year I was able to actually focus on what I was interested in rather than being forced into a boring, one-size-fits-all, curriculum.

This newfound freedom that I had led me into both being able to read what I want as well being able to get college credits before I actually enter college.

For reading, I was able to read such seminal works as Murray Rothbard's Man, Economy, and State as well as his accompanying work with said treatise Power and Market. Other notable works that I were able to read were Ludwig Von Mises' Human Action and The Theory of Money and Credit. Had I still been in my previous school it's very likely that I would not have even touched one of these books.

For obtaining college credits I was able to take advantage of this one program I had discovered: CLEP exams. Done by the same company that administers AP exams, by taking them and successfully passing you're able to get college credit that most colleges will accept as transfer credit. By doing a variety of CLEP exams I was able to get enough college credit to the point that by the time I enter college in the fall I'll already have my first two years completed.
